About Us

Description:
RAPP was founded in 2003 in Kigali as a local non-governmental organization (NGO) and implements projects from different international donors.   RAPP works in urban and rural districts in collaboration with partners composed of Government and National and International NGO’s.  RAPP recognizes the link between HIV prevention and stigma-reduction and discrimination against people who are living with HIV, and taboos related to sexual relations.  RAPP creates awareness among young people about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS and how to prevent it using theater and other unique forms of message transportation.  Our outreach also benefits people that are infected or affected by HIV and other vulnerable and low income people financially.  RAPP helps to reduce poverty by using our purchasing power to initiate and/or support business and Income Generating Activities (IGA) run by local self-help groups.
